Westport Public School has an active Parents & Citizens Association that meets once per month.   The P&C exists for the benefit of the students and enables parents to raise issues regarding the school.

Westport Public School's P&C is responsible for:

bulletthe Uniform Shop
bulletSchool Banking

The P&C conducts many fund raising activities to enable resources to be obtained for the students.  These include pie and lamington drives,  Mothers Day and Fathers Day stalls, cake stalls, the Golden Circle Fun Run and a biannual fete.

Proceeds from the P&C's fundraising have:

contributed to the construction of the multi sports court.

bullet

contributed to the building of the COLA (Covered Outdoor Learning Area)

bullet

contributed to the building of our school hall 

bullet

provided fixed play equipment in the playground

bullet

bought books for the school's literacy program

bullet

provided  a grant to students who have been selected to compete at State level

Currently the P&C is working towards building a cover over the bus line up area, establishing new gardens outside the Year 1 rooms and revamping the bus shelter and school signs.
