Yes,
one of the very best info technology libraries in all of NSW. The library

Yes, the school's canteen is open 5 days a week and is run by a canteen
supervisor. Voluntary mums and dads help with the running of
the canteen. The canteen has a Diamond Accreditation from
the NSW Canteen Association.

Yes, the school has
a fantastic hall which was designed and paid for by the local community.
School choirs and the band regularly use the hall. Community
groups also use our hall after school and on weekends.

No,
the school does not have any demountables.

children have access to computers?
Yes,
the school has a computer lab and all classrooms have at least two
computers connected to the school's network. These computers
are all connected to the internet and students can use the Internet for
as long as they like, no time limits.

is seen as an integral part of all Key learning areas and all classes
are implementing the school's technology scope and sequence.

the school has developed and implemented a very effective Discipline/
Welfare Policy, copies are available from the office.

The
school has a Year 4/6 and Kinder enrichment classes. Students in Years
1-4 with special needs are identified and supported by class teachers.

bus travel is available from anywhere in Port Macquarie and most
surrounding areas to Westport PS. Free bus travel is
available to Kinder, Year1 and Tear 2 students . It is also
available to Year 3-6 children who live more than 1.5km fromWPPS.

Are
parents involved in the day to day running of the school?
Yes,
parents are involved in the governance of the school through P&C and
our very active School Council. Large numbers of parents are
involved, on a daily basis, by helping in class and in the running of
special activities such as student banking, Uniform Shop and sport.
What

The
schools' enrolment zone includes Westport, the North Shore and the
Settlement Point area. Westport is bounded by the Hastings River,
the Pacific Highway, and Kooloonbung Creek.
